Call out for music curators!

Are you passionate about making live music events happen?

If you're an event producer or have a passion for curating live music performances we're looking for you! We are on the hunt for an individual or organisation to put together a brilliant lineup of local musicians for Live and Local, a partnership with Wollongong City Council, the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS.

We're looking to engage a music curator or event producer to work with businesses and venues to deliver a 'micro festival' trail of live music performances in Wollongong CBD. The successful applicant will also have an exciting opportunity to participate in a mentorship program, where you'll learn more about the regulatory frameworks that impact and enable live music performances in our city.

What is Live and Local?

Wollongong is a creative, vibrant city, and we want to showcase that. We are partnering with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS to deliver the Live and Local Initiative, that will offer live music and contribute to capacity building for local venues and the music industry.

Live and Local is part of Wollongong’s CBD Sounds program that contributes to the goals of Wollongong’s 2032 Community Strategic Plan.

Live and Local is presented by Wollongong City Council in partnership with the Live Music Office, OneMusic Australia and APRA AMCOS.
