Culture Mix 2026
Culture Mix is a free, inclusive event on Dharawal Country open to people from all backgrounds, ages, and abilities.
Saturday 26 September, 11am to 6pm
This one-day event will showcase and celebrate the vibrant and diverse community who call Wollongong home - through food, music, dance, art and workshops. Last year a whopping 20,000 of you joined us to celebrate Culture Mix, and we can't wait to do it all again this year.
Culture Mix will be held at various locations in Wollongong CBD, including Crown Street and Mall, Kembla Street, Wollongong Library, and Wollongong Art Gallery.

Now in its fourth year, Culture Mix is produced by Wollongong City Council with funding provided by NSW Government.

The Morning Blend
The Morning Blend is a welcoming local café serving quality coffee, fresh breakfast and brunch favourites, light lunches, and house-made treats. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, it’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends or grab a bite during the day.
Casa Lu
Casa Lu brings a taste of Italy to Wollongong with 13 authentic deli sandwiches made on house-made schiacciata bread and filled with premium imported ingredients.
Alongside their signature sandwiches, you’ll find fresh pizza and a delicious selection of Italian and Northern European pastries.
