From her early teens, owner Mel dreamt of running a “tiny little espresso bar, completely dedicated to speciality coffee”.  15 years and three venues later, Mel has well and truly carved out a niche in the Illawarra café scene. Mel and business partner Bryce nail every detail of your café experience – from the beautiful yet cosy interior filled with timber, greenery and minimalist light sculptures, to the one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic cups and plates, to the always evolving coffee menu.

What's on offer:

  • Technique! If you haven’t branched out lately, open up your options with a Batch brew or cold drip coffee.
  • Beloved brand Single O is a coffee menu staple, supplemented with a cycling menu of new brands and blends.
  • Hungry? Breaky runs all day with bagels every which way you like ‘em, and eggs for days.
  • Opus run two CBD venues. The 120 Keira Street café offers food and eat-in service. The 88 Kembla St café offers take-away food and drink only.
