Hideaway Lane
Escape into a leafy laneway for an unforgettable foodie experience.
Hideaway Lane invites you to step out of the hustle and bustle and into the joys of the old world hospitality. After a decade of running the successful Kangaroo Valley ‘Flavours of the Valley’ cooking school, co-owner Toni-Lee Moran is thrilled to be back in Wollongong offering a new experience of local diners. Toni-Lee shared “Our mission is to create unique experiences that connect people to the earth, food, and artisanal growing and cooking. We were looking for a space where we could create a ‘green’ dining area, and the laneway space was a bonus in which to create our vision. And… with fond, nostalgic memories of Hideaway Cafe from our youth, it is the perfect place to re-establish ourselves.”
“Our small family business grew out of a passion for great food and a love of all things locally grown and made. Having an Italian heritage, where life revolves around food, and a background in Hospitality teaching, it was only a matter of time before the two became one. We are a multigenerational business (mother and son) and pride ourselves on offering special personal touches for all of our events and classes. Most people walk away feeling like they have made new friends.”
