Arias & Art Songs ‘Figures of Love’

Join us for Music & Tea at the Gallery: Emerging Artist Concert Series for a joyful, lyrical and atmospheric performance. Ariana and Natalia Ricci present character pieces from the 19th and 20th Centuries that capture a mood or a sentiment or evoke a sense of place through song.

Annie has selected works from the Romantic period to the 20th century; the program includes composers such as Liszt, Debussy, Strauss, Delibes and more.

Emerging artist Ariana Ricci has sung solo and in choirs in some of the most prestigious concert halls worldwide, including the Sydney Opera House. Ariana is a seasoned performer from a family of strong musical traditions; she is in her third year of a Bachelor of Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium. She will be joined by her mother, Natalia, herself a soloist, collaborative pianist and Lecturer in piano at Sydney Conservatorium. Natalia has an international reputation as a pianist and teacher.
