Hive Festival 2026

Wollongong Art Gallery has partnered with the Art Gallery of NSW to bring Hive Festival to Wollongong these school holidays!
On 20 & 21 January, the gallery will buzz with free, hands-on workshops and colourful fun for kids and families. Inspired by Kate Mitchell’s exhibition Set States, Hive celebrates creativity and play.
Make your own plushie pal, craft postcards of hopes and wishes, or design thank-you flags to celebrate your strengths. It’s all about the joy of play and imagination.
Entry and activities are free and everyone’s welcome!
