Music & Tea: ORPHEUS QUINTET

Join the Orpheus Quintet for a program of music spanning continents and generations. The program brings together works by Valerie Coleman, Ligeti, Ross Edwards, Nielsen, Pilss, and Piazzolla. With Gahyun Lee (oboe), Justin Wang (clarinet), Jay Lee (bassoon), Kara Thorpe (flute), and Jude Austen Kaupe (French horn) — rhythmic energy is balanced by moments of stillness, with contrasts of wit and warmth, and traditional forms re-examined through contemporary voices.
