Official Opening | Outsider Artists Exhibition 2023

showcasing artworks from Greenacres’ Outsider Artists program. Participating artists have a range of physical, psychological and neurological disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome and spina bifida. Program participants are diverse in age, spanning a broad range of culturally diverse backgrounds which include Portuguese, Nepalese, Greek, Italian and First Nations artists.

The Outsider Artists program provides artist led support that promotes friendship and connections while supporting the artists to undertake an extensive process of learning new skills, creating artworks and then inviting family, carers and the community to view their final works.

Exhibition runs until 1 October 2023.
