Painting Landscapes in Watercolour Workshop

Do you long to paint a landscape which has light, life and imparts a sense of joy? This 2-day workshop with Ann Clarke is for you!

Using the transparently beautiful medium of watercolour, you will be guided through the process of making a contour drawing in pencil and then how to build up layers of paint in increasing intensity, working from light delicate washes to stronger and more intense colours. This workshop will help you choose colours to fit a mood and your subject whilst thinking about atmospheric perspective principles, all of which will be explained in a fun and encouraging environment. Images will be supplied, or participants may bring their own.

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists. All equipment supplied.
