Work will soon start on one of Wollongong's newest additions, The Globe project!
Located on the corner of Burelli Street and Church Street (City Diggers) up to the former David Jones building, The Globe will be an exciting mixed-use project that will change the skyline of Wollongong.
With a brand-new City Diggers club on the way, more office space, and a 5-star hotel, we can't wait for The Globe to add their lights to the Wollongong CBD.
What will The Globe include?
City Diggers
The current City Diggers club will be rebuilt with the addition of a motel with 114 rooms (operated by the Wollongong Golf Club).
Office Space
An 8-storey office building will sit next to City Diggers increasing activity for existing businesses and attracting new talent to the region.
5-Star Hotel
The former David Jones corner site will be transformed into the first 5-star hotel in the city centre, offering accommodation and activating the area.
